Kandace joined Hebron Animal Hospital in May 2020 as a veterinary assistant and quickly became an integral part of the team. In August 2022, she graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, focusing on Pre-Veterinary Medicine. Kandace's ultimate goal and passion in life is to help endangered species through innovative medical practices and research, while also collaborating with international conservation efforts to educate the public on the importance of preserving biodiversity.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Kandace enjoys landscape oil painting and hiking, activities that allow her to connect with nature and express her creativity. At home, she shares her life with six beloved fur babies: two Alaskan Malamutes named Juneau and Khoda, and four cats named Mila, Marie, Binx, and Sparrow.
Kandace considers her time at Hebron Animal Hospital a crucial stepping stone in shaping her future and preparing her for veterinary school. She appreciates the unmatched work culture at Hebron, characterized by a strong sense of support, teamwork, diversity, and shared goals focused on providing the best care for patients and clients alike.
