Hi, I'm Dr. Brittany Bueter! I graduated from Drury University in 2008 and earned my DVM from Ross University in 2014 after completing my clinical year at Auburn University. Following graduation, I worked as an associate DVM at Grants Lick Veterinary Clinic and Banfield Pet Hospital before joining the team at Hebron Animal Hospital in 2016, where I’ve been ever since.
Why I Chose This Profession
I have a passion for people and enjoy being in the healthcare field, with the unique and rewarding twist of veterinary medicine. I appreciate the flexibility of veterinary practice, as it lets me enjoy the aspects of healthcare I love without the structure of human medicine — and the animals are a huge bonus!
Favorite Part of My Job
One of my favorite things about veterinary medicine is the variety it brings each day. In any given shift, I get to be a surgeon, anesthesiologist, dentist, internist, psychiatrist, general practitioner, nurse, assistant, receptionist, educator, and yes, even a janitor. Every day is an adventure, and that versatility keeps my work exciting and fulfilling.
For me, the people I meet are the most rewarding part of my job. Building relationships with pets and their families is truly the heart of what I do.
Personal Hobbies & Interests
When I’m not at the clinic, I love staying active and spending time outdoors. I also enjoy reading and solving puzzles to keep my mind engaged and sharp.
